NatureSpy are looking for home-based volunteers to help us go through the vast amounts of camera trap data from our Yorkshire Pine Marten Support Programme.

We’ve got huge amounts of amazing footage and photos from our busy camera traps on the North York Moors, out looking for those little mustelids – but we need help to go through it all and properly classify the wildlife we’re capturing – from red deer to water shrew.

Best of all, you can help from your own computer – all you need is an internet connection for a window into the wilds and to help make a real difference to the project and its legacy.

All data we gather gets submitted to the relevant records centres and will be available for future studies on wildlife in the area, as well as helping us understand distribution of the animals we capture on the camera traps.

To find out more and apply, check out the full details here. The closing date is 21st February 2020.
