Up close and personal

Upgrade your garden birdwatching experience with our smart bird feeder and get to know your feathered visitors in greater detail than ever before

Feature packed bird feeder camera

As you'd expect, the BirdCam Pro is designed to blend in to your garden - not be brash and bold, but to look like it belongs. Our NatureSpy app for both iOS and Android, a built-in solar panel, and pre-installed 32GB memory card (no on-going subscription costs at all) means its simple and quick to get up and running.

App-controlled, solar powered

Powered by internal rechargeable batteries which are kept topped up with the solar panel built in the roof, and controlled with our user-friendly app, the WiFi-connected bird feeder camera lets you view your feathered garden visitors at any time. You can choose to get motion alerts, or just view live when you fancy it - all you need is the bird camera connected to your WiFi, and your phone or tablet with an internet connection.

If anything visits the bird feeder camera before or after the sun's out, the camera's infrared LEDs will allow you to see what's stopped by in night vision.

Matte not gloss

Some birds, at certain times of the year, can get a bit upset at their reflection - thinking someone is muscling in on their patch. We didn't want that - so we added a matte front to the bird camera, to help stop anyone getting confused and pecking at the camera in anger!

Refill, refuel

The clever design of the BirdCam Pro means the seed tray keeps gently refilling as the birds pick from the tray. When the feeder is empty, its easy to refill. The seed tray also has small holes to allow for drainage, and can hold 2.5 litres of food.

Squirrels in mind

In most of the UK, feeding your birds often means feeding one or more squirrels. The BirdCam Pro comes with a pre-installed metal perch, which can support 'chunkier' visitors. If you don't have any visiting squirrels, you can swap to the plastic perch included in the box - which gives a larger area for your birds to wait their turn on.

Link multiple wildlife cameras

The BirdCam Pro uses the same NatureSpy app that our popular WildCam 2 uses - so you can view all your garden cameras in one place. You can even use 'multi-view' to see everything at once. You can add as many BirdCams or WildCams as you want to the app.

AI-powered bird recognition

Wait, what's that? Don't recognise this new visitor? No problem - tap the 'ID Bird' button in the app, and providing there is a clear view, the app will tell you what it thinks is visiting! Our bird watching camera can recognise all our UK garden visitors - from blackbirds to wren, blue tits to nuthatches.

I gave purchased two of these Nature spy bird feeder cameras as we were so impressed with it . It’s Excellent photo and video quality and information on the birds We used the plastic perch but now we have a squirrel visiting we have switched to the metal perch included in the box . It so interesting to learn about the birds and wildlife visiting our garden but also important that NatureSpy are nit for profit and give back to wildlife too . Would definitely recommend this product and makes an excellent present for any family 😘

WiFi BirdCam Pro
An absolutely amazing bit of kit. I’ve already managed to capture so much amazing footage I’d have missed out on otherwise, including a returning juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker (with much, much clearer/better quality footage, this time round! I cannot recommend this feeder + camera enough.

WiFi BirdCam Pro
Really impressed with the easy setup and brilliant app. The birds love it, and we seem to be attracting new visitors already. Never seen Jackdaws in the garden before, but here they are. Didn’t even realise there was a motion activated nightlight until the foxes set it off! The solar charger does the trick too - haven’t dipped below 97% so far. Hugely recommended.

FAQs

We've designed the WiFi BirdCam Pro to have the strongest WiFi aerial possible. The BirdCam connects to your home network and it does not produce its own WiFi signal.

The range of your WiFi very much depends on your router and obstacles like walls, however this usually extends up to 7-10 meters. You can boost this by placing a mains WiFi extender near to the location.

You can also use your phone to roughly gauge the WiFi strength in the intended location.

The BirdCam cannot be viewed on a computer or a laptop. The NatureSpy app is only available for download on a smartphone or tablet.

The BirdCam Pro comes with two perch options - one smaller, metal perch and one larger plastic perch.

The metal perch is pre-attached. Its sturdier, so best if you have squirrels in the area or extra chunky pigeons.

You can switch to the plastic perch if you don't have those concerns - the bigger perch means more birds can visit at once.

The BirdCam Pro cannot connect to a 5GHz frequency and requires a 2.4GHz frequency to pair with your network. This is because the 2.4GHz frequency has a much longer range than 5GHz.

The vast majority of home WiFi routers are dual band meaning they use both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. If you are struggling to pair your camera to your WiFi, take it further away from your router and retry.

Nope! Completely subscription free. This was very important to us when bringing this to market - we're all about easier access to wildlife watching.

The recordings are all saved on the device, rather than the cloud - which means your data is secure and there is no cloud subscription cost.
