Overview
The Strike Force FHDR is a compact, high-performance trail camera designed for wildlife monitoring. It captures 1080p video and 26MP images, utilising low-glow LEDs for clear nighttime footage.
Equipped with Gen 2 night optics and radiant 4 low-glow LEDs, it offers a strong flash for clear nighttime footage. Illuma-smart technology also automatically adjusts IR flash for better detail in night photos alongside the varied infrared flash options.
The Smart IR video option on the Strike Force FHDR allows for continuous daytime recording of up to 5 minutes as long as motion is detected, making it ideal for capturing extended activity without interruption. At night, video clips are limited to 20 seconds, but the camera quickly recovers in under a second to resume recording if movement continues
This camera is particularly fast for photos, with a trigger speed of 0.09s and a recovery time of 0.9s, ensuring quick and responsive photo capture within its 70ft detection range. Its video trigger and recovery speeds are good however for faster speeds we would recommend taking a look at Browning's HP5 or 1080 ranges.
Additional features include a timelapse function and a programmable start/stop timer, allowing you to customize when the camera is active and able to trigger.
Settings are easily managed via a small, user-friendly text LCD screen. While footage cannot be reviewed directly on the camera, the screen provides information on the number of videos or photos taken and the remaining SD card storage. To view footage, the SD card must be removed and inserted into a computer or laptop.
