Find out more about last order dates here.

Our warehouse works hard to dispatch any orders received before 2pm each weekday (and some after 2pm!). Your delivery speed will depend on the shipping method you choose at checkout. 98% of our parcels arrive with wildlife-watchers the next working day.

Please note, bulk orders may occasionally take longer to dispatch, depending on size. If in doubt, get in touch with us, and we'll make it happen.

WHAT IT DOES

Our WiFi BirdCam connects in seconds, letting you watch every flutter and feed live or recorded on your phone or tablet.

The FSC nest box is thoughtfully designed and made in the UK for brilliant views and simple setup.

Everything you need

Do I need this? Do I need that? Don't worry - this kit includes everything you need to get watching your nesting birds.

Our BirdCam is at the heart of it - becoming a wireless birdbox camera and recording in full, crisp HD, with audio. It's WiFi connected, saves clips so you can watch later, and sends motion alerts so you can see all the comings and goings.

The full kit includes a solar panel, camera, aerial and of course our special nest box.

NatureSpy WiFi Solar Nestbox Bird camera

UK made, UK timber

Our unique Nestbox has been designed and tested over 24 months to optimise your nest camera’s performance and make setup a dream.

Two discreet side windows boost natural light for clear colour footage during the day. Invisible infrared illumination ensures clear B&W footage in low light without disturbing nesting birds.

Designed and made in the UK from untreated, wildlife-safe FSC-certified Douglas Fir heartwood sourced in the UK. Built with corrosion-resistant fixings, drainage holes, and an easy-release mounting system for cleaning and long-term use. This hardy box can last for up to 20 years outdoors.

Working outside of the box

When the nesting season ends, you can lift the birdbox camera from its holder and reposition it in your garden. It's suitable for bird watching at feeders, bird baths, or for ground-level visitors such as hedgehogs. This lets you continue enjoying close-up views of wildlife long after fledglings have left the nest.

The camera's weatherproof design and long-range aerial mean you can place it anywhere in your garden. It delivers reliable performance no matter where it's set, making it perfect for year-round wildlife watching.

AI-powered bird recognition

Wait, what’s that? Don’t recognise this new visitor? No problem - tap the ID Bird button in the app and, provided there’s a clear view, the app will analyse the footage and tell you what it thinks is visiting.

Our nest box camera can recognise all of our UK garden visitors - from blackbirds to wrens, blue tits to nuthatches. It’s a great way to learn more about garden wildlife and to build your knowledge as a birdwatcher, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced.

Link multiple wildlife cameras

The Nestbox Camera uses our NatureSpy app - the same as our popular BirdCam Pro and WildCam 2 - so you can view all your garden cameras in one place. From bird box cameras to ground-level wildlife cameras, you can add as many as you like to the app.

Never run out of power

Powering your Nestbox camera is as simple as plugging in the solar panel and mounting it with the supplied fixings.

The solar powered camera includes a rechargeable internal battery, which is automatically topped up by the solar panel, keeping it running year-round. It can also be charged directly via USB-C if needed.

Matte not gloss

Some birds, at certain times of the year, can get a bit upset by their reflection, thinking someone is muscling in on their patch. We didn’t want that, so we added a matte front to the bird camera. By reducing reflections and glare we help stop anyone getting confused and pecking at it in anger!

FAQs

The Nestbox comes with a set of metal screws and wall plugs, allowing you to mount it in your preferred location. All you’ll need is a drill and a screwdriver!

If you’re not sure exactly where to site your Nestbox, we recommend taking a look at the excellent guide provided by the BTO.

The WiFi bird box camera uses a long-range aerial to provide a usable range of up to 25m from your router. It connects to your home network and does not produce its own WiFi signal. The included aerial means the range is much further than most traditional WiFi cameras. This means you can situate the camera in an area where the bird nesting won't be disturbed by the noise of your home.

In addition to a smartphone or tablet, the Nestbox BirdCam Pro can be used with Apple Mac running on Apple Silicon (M1 and above). Download the NatureSpy app from the App Store and sign in.

There is no supported app on Windows or Intel systems.

The Nestbox Camera requires a 2.4 GHz frequency to pair with your network. It does not connect to a 5 GHz frequency due to its very short range. 2.4GHz offers the maximum WiFi range - important for outdoor cameras.

Nope! Completely subscription free. This was very important to us when bringing this to market - we're all about easier access to wildlife watching.

The recordings are all saved on the device, rather than the cloud - which means your data is secure and there is no cloud subscription cost.
