Situated on the northwest shore of Loch Ness, the Bunloit estate is home to an exciting rewilding project with a focus on carbon capture, boosting biodiversity and working with the local community.
Bunloit features a diverse range of habitats where you can find pine martens, red squirrels, wild boar, roe and sika deer, to name a few! The project will be working to restore natural ecological processes in altered parts of the landscape, improving habitats for wildlife and developing the site as a carbon sink in the fight against climate change.
NatureSpy are thrilled to be supporting Bunloit with their camera trapping needs. Through camera trap technical and survey support, weβre helping the project establish their ecological baseline and gather lots of engaging videos for a wider audience in the process.
